An Aprilia with two exhausts?
This car was seen in Italy. After thinking about it for a while – it seems a bit strange. Did Aprilias come with two exhaust pipes? If so, it would be different than the other V4 cars. A bit wierd, to be sure. Any thoughts?
If you watch that Aprilia on the feront, You’ll note a V6 Badge. Actually it’s a prototype of the Aurelia Mechanics, tested and driven on a daily basis by Gianni Lancia back then, and still in the hands of the Family… I may check if I have photos of this car…

Thanks for this. The post was a bit of a jest – I had visited Manfredi Lancia, and he took me for a ride in this car shortly after it was finished.
The engine is the 538 45degree V6 prototype from 1945/46 that Manfredi restored and then put in the car. Ran very smoothly. I have many photos of the car, and will add yours as well. Have to repost the photos, as they seem to have been lost on the blog.
