Life photographer Tom Mcavoy photographed the Lancia cars at Maranello, being taken apart and worked on by the Ferrari team. The photos are dated 1956, but it may have been earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Its an interesting set of photos, a moment of exploration and incorporation for Ferrari, looking at these cars as a group, that just descended on their shop. Not the normal way they did their work, but its clear they are hard at work figuring these cars out.
